OpsMerge vs Atera

Atera's pricing is friendly. Its PSA isn't.

Atera popularised flat per-tech pricing for a reason — it makes growth predictable. But the trade-off is a thin PSA, a fuzzy data-residency story, and a roadmap weighted toward AI demos. OpsMerge gives you the same pricing posture with a real PSA and EEA-hosted data, published down to the city.

Atera deserves credit for breaking the per-endpoint pricing model. Flat per-tech is a sane way to buy MSP tools — it stops penalising you for growing your client base and it removes the quote call. The downsides: the PSA is a ticket tab, not a real PSA; data residency is fuzzy; and recent roadmap energy has been heavily AI-feature focused, which is great if you want it and noise if you don't.

OpsMerge keeps the flat-pricing posture (per-MSP, not per-endpoint) and ships a real PSA with SLAs, time tracking, asset linking and a void-with-rollback billing engine.

Pricing posture

OpsMerge vs Atera on pricing

Atera pricing is per-tech in tiers. Its public MSP plans run from $129 to $209 per technician per month billed annually (Atera public MSP pricing, as of September 2026). The implicit per-tech cost falls as you grow, not rises.

The beta is open, and we don't have customer quotes yet. Real ones will land here. We don't fake them.

Common questions

  • Is OpsMerge as fast to onboard as Atera?
Honest answer: not yet. Atera has spent years polishing first-week productivity. We are catching up. The trade-off is a deeper PSA and EEA-hosted data: we publish exactly where your data lives, not whichever region your vendor felt like.
  • Will OpsMerge add a mobile app?
Yes, post-GA. We are not pretending the responsive web view is a mobile app.
  • What about Atera AI features?
We ship AI features that earn their place — not features designed to fill a feature comparison checkbox. Specific AI features land on their own merits with documented prompt injection delimiters and citation verification.
  • Can I bring my Atera scripts?
Yes. PowerShell / Bash paste in unchanged. We will work with you on the script library import during beta onboarding.
