ConnectWise is the incumbent's incumbent, a deep ecosystem covering RMM, PSA, BCDR, sales, billing and quoting. The trade-off is a tooling estate that takes a year to deploy, a six-figure implementation budget at scale, and pricing that requires three calls to find out.
ConnectWise, known to the long-term hands as the LabTech / ScreenConnect / Manage / Sell stack, is the platform every enterprise-scale MSP eventually evaluates. It earned that position. The PSA is genuinely deep. The integration marketplace is unmatched. The community of MSP partners is the largest in the industry.
The trade-offs are stark for shops under 30 techs. Implementation projects routinely run 6-12 months. Pricing is sales-gated and famously hard to reconcile against feature scope. Each pillar, RMM, PSA, sales, BCDR, has its own SKU, its own login origin, its own release cycle. The ecosystem depth is a feature for shops that staff a ConnectWise admin. It's a tax for shops that don't.
