OpsMerge vs NinjaOne
Public pricing. Real PSA. No quote call.
NinjaOne is a mature RMM with a big feature surface. It's also per-endpoint, sales-gated, and the PSA story is light. If you're tired of quote-call buying and creep on your endpoint count, look at OpsMerge.
NinjaOne is a strong RMM. Its agent is solid, its automation library is deep, and its UI has been polished for years. We won't pretend otherwise. But three things consistently send MSPs looking for an alternative: per-endpoint pricing that creeps as you grow, sales-gated quotes that obscure the real cost, and a PSA story that hasn't kept up with the RMM.
OpsMerge is flat per-MSP (not per-endpoint). Pricing is public in GBP. The PSA isn't a tab — it's a peer to the RMM. Same database, same SPA, one bill.

Where NinjaOne is better
- Maturity — NinjaOne has been shipping for years. Their automation library, mobile app, and integration marketplace are deeper than ours.
- Feature breadth — Niche corners of their product (e.g., particular MDM features, specific OEM hooks) don't have OpsMerge equivalents yet.
- Documentation surface — Their public docs and community content are extensive.
If those matter more than pricing transparency or a real PSA, NinjaOne might still be the right choice.
Where OpsMerge wins
- Pricing transparency — public GBP pricing at GA, flat per-MSP, no quote call. Ever.
- Real PSA in one platform — tickets, SLAs, time tracking, asset linking, billing, all in the same database.
- Asset-driven billing — live agent fleet auto-counts to invoice lines. Void unwinds the credits, the period counters and the accounting-side invoice in one step.
- Regional data residency — EU and US regions live today; AP region on the roadmap. Your data stays in the region you signed up to.
- Founder voice — built by an MSP owner. Roadmap reflects what operators ask for.
- Closed beta, no contract — apply, get admitted, use it. No 12-month minimum.
Pricing posture
OpsMerge vs NinjaOne on pricing
NinjaOne pricing is sales-gated and varies. Indicative public reports put it in the £4-£8 per endpoint per month range depending on volume and term. We deliberately don't quote competitor prices line-by-line because they change.

Migration
Coming from NinjaOne? Here's what changes.
Migration is staged. Both agents can co-exist on an endpoint during a pilot ring. We will work with you on the cut-over plan during beta onboarding.
Agent re-registration
Uninstall NinjaOne agent, install OpsMerge agent. Migration script for staged rollout in development.
Asset import
CSV export from NinjaOne maps cleanly to OpsMerge asset rows. Tooling in the queue.
Ticket history
Bulk import from NinjaOne ticketing CSV / API. Field mapping documented during your beta onboarding.
Scripts
Your PowerShell / Bash scripts paste straight into the OpsMerge script library. No syntax change.
Realistic timeline: 2-4 weeks staged rollout for a 200-endpoint, single-MSP shop.
What MSPs migrating from NinjaOne tell us
Beta is closed and quiet. Once we have real customer quotes, they'll land here. We don't fake them.
Common questions
Will OpsMerge be cheaper than my current NinjaOne quote?
Almost certainly, especially as endpoint count grows. We will publish exact pricing at GA. Beta is free for the cohort window. Can I run both platforms in parallel during migration?
Yes. Both agents can co-exist on an endpoint during a staged migration. Performance impact is minimal but worth a pilot ring first. What is NinjaOne genuinely better at?
Automation library depth, mobile app, marketplace breadth. We would rather concede that openly than pretend otherwise. What if I am a NinjaOne MSP partner / reseller?
Then your economics are different. OpsMerge is not structured around MSP-of-MSPs reselling today. Talk to us if that is your model. Is the migration risky?
Like any platform migration. We stage it in rings, run both in parallel for a window, validate the new telemetry matches the old, then cut over. We would rather you keep NinjaOne running until you are sure.
Tired of NinjaOne's quote call?
Apply for the beta. Tell us your endpoint count and current NinjaOne tier — we'll tell you exactly what migration looks like for you.
